How to use this Google Map
  • Note the Map Control at the top left and the Map Type Control at the top right. Place your mouse over each element to read what it does.
  • To move around, click the arrow buttons on the map or drag the map around with your mouse button depressed.
  • Zoom in or out by clicking on the Map Control "+" or "–" buttons - or by clicking a point on the vertical scale or dragging its position marker.
  • Return to the opening map by clicking the center button between the arrows.
  • Try locating your own address and zoom right in to see the boundaries of your block of land in Map view.
  • Explore the world by typing in an address. Try "White House" or "Buckingham Palace" or "Parliament House Canberra".
  • To find an Australian postcode, type in an address such as Glebe NSW Australia - making sure you add NSW or Australia in case Google takes you to a USA location with the same name.
  • Planning a holiday? Then check out your destination by typing in its address. You'll be able to zoom down to it satellite imagery.
